Where is AFRAYED Upcycling based?

I moved from my home town in Orpington to Liverpool in August 2020! All items are now being handmade in Liverpool ✨

 

How do you source your fabrics?

From everywhere! Since going full time, I've been sourcing my materials from local charity shops, Ebay and Vinted. Please see my TIKTOK video for more information - @afrayedupcycling


What sizes do you do?

I am proud to say that I do XS-5XL!

I want to make beautiful, individual clothes for all bodies. I will do my best to patch the garment as seen in the template, however due to working with second hand garments, please be aware that the final item may not look exactly like the mock design.

How long will it take to receive my order?

Please check the individual listing to see how long manufacturing will take and the information page for shipping estimations. Custom orders are handmade and will take longer to dispatch. This is a 'slow fashion' buisness that prides itself on creating beautiful, unique, well-thought pieces. I can guarentee your custom order will be worth the wait! If it is a 'ready to ship' order, it will be dispatched within 1-2 working business days.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes! Please see the shipping information for estimated delivery times. International shipping is charged at a flat rate, no matter how many items you purchase. 🌎

 

Can I supply my own fabrics for a patchwork design?
Yes! I would love for you to send the fabrics you want made into a patchwork garment!

Can I cancel/change my order?

Once fabrics have been agreed, I will begin making your bespoke item, so for this reason I am unable to cancel or make any significant changes to orders. You may be able to make minor changes up to a certain point, so please contact me and I will see what I can do.

 

Can you adjust the sizing of my custom garment?

As I work with patterns, I am unable to make any dramatic changes to the patterns I use. If you need a garment shortened/lengthen, please message me.

I am unable to take on custom sized garments.

Do you take fabric donations?

If you have large remnants, curtains or bedding that you don't want then yes! I'd love to take them off your hands! Please send me an email.
